With the continuous development of the Internet and the improvement of automation degree in air separation plant, increasing number of customers choose to realize remote monitoring of equipment and installation monitoring on site through the Internet, as data being transmitted to the company headquarters. This technology has also been well received during implementation.
As early as 2003, XLA has established an Internet all-day online remote service system, which can transmit the operating status of user equipment to Xinglu’s real-time remote service system through the Internet. Xinglu’s remote control room is able to control multiple sets of equipment at the same time (see Figure 1) to meet customers needs.
- Remote assistance:Xinglu can participate in equipment operation and maintenance, providing customers with equipment startup guidance, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and other services through the network to give out reasonable maintenance opinions and suggestions. Not only normal operation of plant has been guaranteed but also efficiency of troubleshooting improved.
- Remote maintenance:Plant engineers or management personnel of user can remotely control start-up and shutdown, maintenance, fault processing, gas conditions adjustment, data analysis, monitoring and management to solve the problems that engineers had to appear in site in person. It is well recognized that high efficiency and low cost are perfectly realized by this system, with management difficulty and cost being reduced largely.
Figure 2 shows the remote monitoring of equipment output, temperature and other conditions by our European customers after the plant has been operating stably for 48 hours.
